Our thanks to all who took part in the Jubilee Walk from Doctor's Quarters in South Armagh today. Following prayers and a few short talks at the former home of St. Oliver, the nearby St. Oliver Plunkett Well was blessed by Canon Benny Fee. The day was quite sunny and the fifty pilgrims in attendance felt blessed to be present at the event.
Following a 4 km walk over hilly terrain to the Church of the Sacred Heart at Lislea, Vespers was prayed by the pilgrims and this was followed by a welcome cup of tea and refreshments in the local hall. Our thanks to the Parish of Lower Killeavy, the McCann family for their hospitality at Doctor's Quarters and all who helped out in any way.
